As the District 3 City Council member, I would be one of eleven members of the new Framingham legislative body.

 

As a council member I would continue to support our great police, fire, public works, school, library, and park departments. I would welcome comments from residents on issues that are before the council and support the appointment of advisory committees. I would strive to be well-informed before voting on all issues by diligently preparing for meetings, as I have done for the meetings of all committees I have belonged to.

I am a long-time Framingham homeowner with three children who went to Framingham schools and three of my grandchildren go to Framingham public schools too. My wife, Ruth Winett, is a Library Trustee and president of the Framingham Public Library Foundation..

I ask for your vote for City Council at the primary on September 26th and the election on November 7th.
